VetStream does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or provide medical opinions. Any apparent interpretations or suggestions in AI-generated output are computational pattern-matching results, not clinical diagnoses or medical recommendations.
All AI-generated content must be thoroughly reviewed, verified, and approved by a licensed veterinary professional before being used in any clinical context or communicated to clients. Users are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of all content before use.
Generated client emails are draft templates only. They are not ready to send as-is and must be carefully reviewed, edited, and approved by the veterinary professional before being sent to clients. The veterinarian is responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of all communications sent to clients.
The veterinarian retains full professional responsibility for all clinical decisions, diagnoses, treatments, and client communications. Use of VetStream does not transfer or diminish any professional obligations or liability. The veterinary professional is solely responsible for the care provided to their patients.
VetStream is not suitable for emergency or critical care situations. In veterinary emergencies, professionals should rely on their training, established emergency protocols, and direct clinical assessment rather than AI-generated content.
Use of VetStream does not create a veterinarian-patient relationship between VetStream (or its operators) and any animal patient or pet owner. The veterinarian-patient relationship exists solely between the licensed veterinary professional and their clients.
